Nissin’s Cup Noodles has been introducing many innovative meals, and in fact, it was able to successfully infiltrate lunch and dinner with its filling, instant food items. People also patronize its products because they are cheaper than most meals but satisfying.
Now, Cup Noodles is now trying to enter another market, and this time, it is breakfast. According to CNBC, the instant noodle maker unveiled its newest product especially made for the most important meal of the day.
The company has aptly called it the “Cup Noodles Breakfast,” and it is said to be a limited edition offering. On its packaging, customers will instantly see the images of pancakes with maple syrup, sausage, and egg. And just as shown on the label, the new cup noodles are said to taste like the three popular breakfast menus.
It may be an unimaginable taste since it is a cup of ramen, but they are actually delicious. Then again, Cup Noodles said that there is a bit of difference because while the regular noodles have soups, the Cup Noodles Breakfast is sauce-based.
"We know our products are a go-to meal any time of the day," Nissin Foods USA’s senior vice president, Priscila Stanton, said in a press release. "Saucy, soup-based, spicy, sweet or savory, we even added rice to some, so by adding Cup Noodles Breakfast to our line-up we are truly feeding cravings around the clock - morning, noon, night or late night."
The SVP also explained that people could compare the new noodle product to a classic diner breakfast in a cup but without the hassle of making a full meal with all ingredients. “This idea was about how you bring all of those great breakfast cravings into a cup,” she told CNN News in a separate statement. “The company’s research discovered that eggs, sausage, and pancakes were the picks to create the best breakfast combination.”
The new Nissin Cup Noodles Breakfast will retail at $1.18 starting this week. It will be exclusively sold at select Walmart stores and its website.
