Nordson Corporation (NASDAQ: NDSN) delivered stronger-than-expected third-quarter fiscal 2026 results and raised its full-year financial outlook, pushing Nordson stock up 5.67% following the earnings announcement.

The precision technology company reported adjusted earnings of $3.25 per share for the quarter ended July 31, 2026. That exceeded analysts’ consensus estimate of $3.09 by $0.16 per share. Revenue climbed to a record $817.66 million, comfortably above Wall Street expectations of $779.49 million.

Nordson’s quarterly revenue also increased 10% from $742 million in the same period a year earlier. Organic sales advanced approximately 12%, supported by growth across all of the company’s business segments.

Following the strong Nordson Q3 earnings report, management raised its fiscal 2026 guidance. The company now forecasts full-year revenue between $3.035 billion and $3.075 billion. At $3.055 billion, the midpoint is well above the analyst consensus forecast of $2.983 billion.

Nordson also increased its adjusted earnings guidance to between $11.80 and $12.00 per share. The midpoint of $11.90 is roughly 2.7% higher than the $11.59 consensus estimate, signaling increased confidence in the company’s performance through the remainder of the year.

President and CEO Sundaram Nagarajan attributed the quarter’s performance to continued momentum, execution of Nordson’s Ascend Strategy, its diversified portfolio and operational discipline. He noted that the company achieved record sales across all three segments while maintaining strong margins.

Demand indicators also remained positive. Nordson’s backlog increased 35% year over year, pointing to continued customer demand and supporting its improved outlook.

Third-quarter EBITDA reached a record $262 million, representing approximately 32% of sales and increasing 10% from the prior-year period.

With record quarterly revenue, stronger organic growth, a growing backlog and higher fiscal 2026 guidance, Nordson’s latest earnings results provide investors with encouraging signs about the precision technology company’s near-term growth trajectory.
