The long wait is almost over for all the loyal viewers and followers of the hit TV series ‘Once Upon A Time’ since a few more days and the show will be back in the airwaves to continue its fifth season. With how the last episode ended last December, this has left viewers wanting for answers and spoilers as to what will happen to the team once they travel to the Underworld. So read on for some juicy information.
We all know how heroic Hook was when he sacrificed himself for the sake of the people of Storybrooke. And so Emma and the rest of the group will have a rescue mission. According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, the mission of the heroes will not be limited to rescuing Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) in the next part of the season. Once they reach the underworld and see their old friends and enemies, they will have an “expanded” mission.
Executive producer Edward Kitsis revealed that the forthcoming episodes will be similar to the very first season of the show, in which the people in Storybrooke had unfinished business. “We have to wonder if we can’t help them find their happy endings even in the afterlife,” the producer said.
Aside from that, the team also hinted that the episode will be Regina-centric, with the focus of her current challenges in the underworld as well as flashback scenes.
One of the flashback scenes of Regina is apparently about a past birthday, in which a “surprising someone sets out to gift-wrap for the Evil Queen the only thing she desires.” While in the underworld, Mayor Cora will set a “rather grim ground rule.”
Meanwhile, we will be welcoming a new face in the show as a casting call was posted on Spoiler TV which reveals that a character named Prince Marcus will be seen in “Once Upon a Time” Season 5. The character has been described as someone in his late 30s or 40s. “Looks and acts like he was born to be King. He is wise, handsome, and authoritative. A ruler who will deal harsh justice when it is necessary, but he also knows the power of kindness and forgiveness.”
Watch out what happens next as ‘Once Upon a Time’ returns this March 6.
