‘One Piece’ Chapter 916 Release Date, Spoilers: Luffy Defeats Urashima in Sumo Match, Leading to First Meeting with Holdem

The action is definitely building up in the Wano arc and the events in “One Piece” chapter 916 will ignite another exciting battle. Luffy makes his mark in the Bakura city after defeating Urashima in a sumo wrestling match. This will lead to his first encounter with Kaido’s headliner, Holdem.

“One Piece” chapter 916 contains a brief but still an exciting fight between Luffy and the Yokozuna named Urashima. It was established in the previous chapter that he is obsessed with marrying Kiku. But the female samurai dodged Urashima’s advances by cutting off the sumo wrestler’s topknot in public.

Urashima was furious and aimed to land a punch on Kiku but Luffy got in the scene. Upon Luffy’s arrival in Bakura, Urashima holds an undefeated record in all his sumo wrestling matches. But after Luffy uses Gomu Gomu No, the Straw Hats leader sends Urashima flying in the air in “One Piece” chapter 916.

The ruckus that Luffy has caused catches the attention of Holdem, who was initially busy forcing Tama to reveal her devil fruit. Holdem’s house was destroyed after Urashima landed on it. Holdem then comes out to see who Luffy is, which means these two fierce characters are finally meeting in “One Piece” chapter 916.

As Holdem goes out to face Luffy, the Beasts headliner has placed Tama in between the fangs of the lion. And Holdem warns, “Don’t you dare move a muscle or she’ll be chewed in half!” Unfortunately, Tama will still not demonstrate her devil fruit in “One Piece” chapter 916, which is likely going to help tame the lion head.

Meanwhile, the Heart Pirates return in “One Piece” chapter 916 but things are not looking good for them. It appears that Bepo will eat a fish from the poisoned river. Trafalgar Law can only scold his crew member for not listening to his reminder but Bepo already appears to be getting sick.

Meanwhile, Basil Hawkins is also seen preparing to approach the Heart Pirates in “One Piece” chapter 916. Will the Heart Pirates need to fight Hawkins first before reaching Luffy? Will Tama finally unleash her power as the battle between Luffy and Holdem awaits? These are questions that will probably be answered in chapter 917.
