With “One Piece” Chapter 917 being a few more days away from release, fans will have to content themselves with speculative reports on the upcoming issue of the manga. In particular, there have been some questions with regards to one missing character in the arc. It was mentioned that there are three major underlings of Kaidou in Wano and the only one missing is Speed.
As Otaku Art notes, in all of the excitement surrounding the upcoming battle between Hawkins, Holdem, Luffy, Zoro, and Law, it would seem that people forgot there was another character in the mix. So far, another member of the Worst Generation of pirates has yet to make an appearance in Speed. This is despite the fact that Luffy just sent a giant sumo wrestler through the building that Holdem was in. Perhaps he will finally show up in “One Piece” Chapter 917.
Based on his name alone, it’s clear that Speed is going to have an ability that is likely related to, well, speed. He is probably going to be very fast and might even have lightning agility. If so, he is going to be a troublesome opponent if he does appear in “One Piece” Chapter 917.
Coming back to the point about the upcoming fight between all of these headliners, it’s worth point out that it will be the first direct move that the Straw Hats will be making against Kaidou. This time, Luffy and Zoro will intentionally provoke the legendary pirate by fighting his subordinates. This should make “One Piece” Chapter 917 quite the momentous point in their adventure.
As for when “One Piece” Chapter 917 will be released, The Anime Scrolls reports that it will be on Sept. 15. This follows the one-week hiatus that the author took, which caused the delay. Fortunately, there are only a few days left to wait.
