As long-time readers of “One Piece” will already know, at this point, trying to guess what will happen in “One Piece” Chapter 942 can be an exercise in futility since the author is so good at twists. However, there are bound to be some predictions that will hit the nail on the head. Among them is the danger of Big Mom arriving at Udon, finding that the food she was promised was eaten, and then going on a rampage.
The previous chapter saw Luffy and Hyogoro having deformed bodies because of how they ate all the food that was brought by Queen, GameNGuides notes. Even though no one in the prison knows it yet, that food was supposed to save them from the wrath of Big Mom. Without it, “One Piece” Chapter 942 could see the yonko going on another eating spree where everyone around her gets consumed.
This would not be a good way to go, especially for those who are not strong or lucky enough to get away on time. Luffy and the old man are unlikely to become victims and the same goes for Queen. The only question is what these individuals will do once Big Mom arrives. In fact, there is still the question of whether or not “One Piece” Chapter 942 will feature the yonko entering the prison.
As of now, the current bet for the next chapter’s story is the continuation of Yasu’s execution. The smiling character was set to be killed and “One Piece” Chapter 942 might show some flashbacks of his past. Then again, past chapters have shown that the story can take a quick turn for every chapter, so it’s actually possible for the perspective to switch to Orochi, the Marines, or any of the other pirates.
If “One Piece” Chapter 942 does end up featuring Big Mom entering Udon, the implications are simply not pleasant. One can only hope that Chopper will manage to get away in time when it is released on May 13.
