“One Piece” Episode 885 will be expounding on the Levely gathering that’s already been kickstarted. The previous release didn’t dive into this arc as it was a full flashback to the events involving Vivi, Crocodile, and the Alabasta Saga.
However, it did set up a necessary detail that will be explored by “One Piece” Episode 885. As has been revealed, the Holy Land Mary Geoise has a pretty dark secret as it keeps a host of slaves beneath the capital to have its various machinations working. Fukaboshi already suspected this fact after their family rode on the Travelator.
In “One Piece” Episode 885, it’s expected that more of this plotline will be revealed, with a significant hint involving Bartholomew Kuma. Although Kuma has been previously revealed as a vicious pirate and the king of the Sorbet Kingdom, he has now been reduced to being a slave of the World Nobles.
It’s still unclear how much information “One Piece” Episode 885 will be providing about the character, but there’s no denying that he will appear in the upcoming release. After all, the trailer has already spoiled this development, a fact that got fans of the series confused and curious.
Meanwhile, “One Piece” Episode 885 could also provide some more tension in the form of Saint Charlos wanting to enslave the beautiful mermaid princess, Shirahoshi. The offense earned the ire of Neptune who subsequently attacked Charlos and CP-0 to protect his daughter. Fortunately, Saint Donquixote Mjosgard was there to pacify the situation by knocking Charlos out cold with a club and apologized to Neptune for the noble’s disrespectful actions.
While all of these unfolds, Sabo and Monkey D. Dragon will be positioning themselves for the perfect opportunity to declare war against the World Nobles. Whatever the case, fans shouldn’t expect much action from “One Piece” Episode 885 as it’ll be geared towards setups and plot twists. Regarding its release date, the next episode of the series is slated to drop on May 19.
