If Orochi’s plans push through in “One Piece” chapter 971, Oden and the Nine Red Scabbards will face a horrible fate – they’ll all be boiled to death. However, there is still a possibility that things might not turn out the way Orochi and Kaido planned.
In the recently released chapter of the “One Piece” manga series, Oden proved to be so strong that he was able to fight head to head with Kaido in his dragon form. He even managed to get the upper hand when he injured Kaido using Enma and Ame no Habakiri, which left an X-shaped scar on the Yonko.
However, Kaido used trickery to defeat Oden. He had Kurozumi Higurashi transform into Oden’s son to distract the Daimyo of Kuri. While distracted, Kaido mercilessly attacked Oden resulting in the latter becoming unconscious.
With their leader’s fall, the Nine Red Scabbards were overwhelmed as well. Thus, they’ll be facing a brutal execution in “One Piece” chapter 971.
But Orochi and Kaido’s plans will likely fail and Oden and his men will not be boiled to death. The biggest clue is in the fact that most of the Nine Red Scabbards are still alive to this day.
Someone is likely to make a rescue attempt in “One Piece” chapter 971. And that someone has already been revealed in the previous chapter. As Oden and his men were captured, Shinubo was seen getting away scot-free.
She will likely rescue Oden’s group in “One Piece” chapter 971. But the rescue attempt will only be partially successful. One of Kaido’s men will likely discover their plan and a new round of fighting will ensue.
“One Piece” chapter 971 will likely feature Oden fighting to save his men and his family from being captured by Orochi and Kaido.
Oden will buy them some time as Toki casts her time travelling ability and send Momonosuke and the others into the future. Meanwhile, his sister will be separated and will be left behind along with some members of the Nine Red Scabbards.
Unfortunately, Oden won’t make it and will fall down fighting in “One Piece” chapter 971. But going down to save his family is a far glorious end compared to being boiled alive.
Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a bit longer before “One Piece” 971 will be released. The series will be on a hiatus next week and will only return on February 16, 2020.
