Eiichiro Oda showed fans of his manga series that waiting for the latest chapter was worth it. However, after experiencing several weeks of unplanned break some might also be curious about whether or not a delay before the release of “One Piece” chapter 993 is on the horizon as well.
‘One Piece’ chapter 993 release date won’t be delayed
To those who do not know yet, the manga will not go on a break this week. “One Piece” chapter 993 is confirmed to be released in the next Weekly Shonen Jump issue. This means its digital copy with the official English translation will go live online on Sunday, Oct. 25.
Fans no longer have to rely on unofficial scanlations since every new chapter of “One Piece” is released for free online. “One Piece” chapter 993 will be available on the said date through Manga Plus and VIZ Shonen Jump – on their desktop sites and mobile apps – for free.
The extra curiosity over the release date of “One Piece” chapter 993 is understandable since chapter 992 was delayed for several weeks. It was also addressed by Oda writing for the WSJ issue #46 mangaka musings, “No excuses allowed! I’m so, so sorry to everyone. Thank you for all your positive thoughts. I’ll do better!” Even though Oda is very apologetic, most fans were understanding of the previous delay since it was reportedly caused by the series creator falling suddenly ill.
‘One Piece’ chapter 993 predictions, spoilers: What could happen next
The release of early leaks has also become part of the weekly tradition for fans of the series. Spoilers for “One Piece” chapter 993 should be available online about two to three days before its official release date, but chapter 992 may have foreshadowed five likely scenarios in the next installment.
Fans saw Carrot running toward Perospero declaring she wants to avenge Pedro. Black Maria also returned, but only had a brief appearance in chapter 992. This could eventually lead to the much-awaited reveal of her strength and abilities. It would also be nice to see Yamato catching up with Shinobu and Momonosuke in “One Piece” chapter 993, and see how awkward their first interaction would be.
On the other hand, “One Piece” chapter 993 could simply pick up directly from the ending of chapter 992 that showed Kaido getting riled up with the combined attacks of the Scabbards. This might even lead to the revelation of his hybrid Zoan form just as Luffy is making his way to fight him.
