OnePlus has always been something of a renegade smartphone company. It doesn’t belong in the usual hierarchy, either as a Chinese manufacturer or just a smartphone maker. In the case of its newest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 6, the company proves that it can compete with much bigger brands. The OnePlus 6 Red is drawing quite a bit of attention for being a gorgeous phone, as well.
In its coverage of the OnePlus 6, Android Central has been heaping praises on the device, and it is not alone. Numerous other publications and reviewers have been raving about the features of this new gadget. Among the most commonly lauded are its fast performance, its superb display, and its excellent camera.
What’s more, it seems that the OxygenOS that is on the OnePlus 6 is proving to be quite the customizable wonder. It’s perfect for those who like to fiddle with their devices to make them truly their own.
It would seem that the gesture system works out in favor of the OnePlus device substantially better than competitors, as well, including the Google Pixel 2. Apparently, having an intuitive interface can have a major impact on the experience of the user.
Aside from the numerous wonderful features of the OnePlus 6, however, its limited edition Red counterpart is also drawing a lot of attention for aesthetic reasons. As Express.co.uk reports, the smartphone is the most striking device to come from the company yet.
Made of six panels of glass, the OnePlus 6 Red apparently features an anti-reflective layer, which gives the surface more depth. Orange and red have been expertly mixed to create a bright and radiant affair without seeming extravagant. The glossy design of the device also makes it positively vibrant.
Available for $579, the North American variant of the phone will feature 128GB of storage. It will also come with a Snapdragon 845 processor and a 6.28-inch OLED display.
