OnePlus will be celebrating its second anniversary on December 17 and to celebrating the occasion, the company has announced that it is making the OnePlus 2 invite-free.
“You'll never again need an invite to purchase the OnePlus 2. We're proud to be able to make the OnePlus 2 invite-free so soon and hope this will make getting your very own OnePlus 2 a cheerfully easy experience”, the blog post read.
While OnePlus 2 will be invite-free forever, OnePlus X is available invite-free until today. Moreover, the company also said that customers ordering OnePlus device or accessories by December 07 will definitely receive it for the holidays.
OnePlus 2 is a 5.5-inch smartphone with 1080x1920 pixels resolution and equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. It comes in two variants – 16 GB internal memory with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal memory with 4GB RAM. It has a 13MP primary camera and a powerful 3300 Li-Po mAh battery.
The OnePlus X is the first ‘Make in India’ device for which local production will start in Hyderabad, reported First Post. It has 5-inch display offering a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and is powered by Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor. It will have 3GB RAM and an internal storage of 16GB, expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. It will also feature 13MP primary camera and non-removable LI-Po 2525 mAh battery.
