Oracle is directing a four-year, $1 billion partner commitment toward firms that build and deliver its software, as the company seeks to expand its reach amid customer demand for AI services.
Oracle announced the commitment on Oct. 23, saying it is responding to customer demand for AI-powered products and services. The company set a four-year horizon but did not publish a yearly outlay or say how much would go to each form of support.
The offer pairs training and certification with technical assistance and environments where partners can develop, test and demonstrate offerings. Planned resources cover applications, database modernization, cloud services and AI agents, as well as migration funding and coordination with Oracle sales teams to help partners bring eligible products to market.
Oracle’s network spans advisory firms and independent software vendors (ISVs), alongside systems integrators, resellers, value-added distributors and providers of cloud and managed services. They make products that complement Oracle technology and help customers plan, deploy and manage systems.
Partners are the direct recipients of the planned incentives. Oracle says customers may benefit from a broader range of solutions and delivery support, but the announcement gives no allocation by program area or region, no division between cash and other benefits, and no indication whether the amount adds to existing partner-program spending.
Mark Hura, president of Oracle Global Field Operations, said partners contribute to Oracle’s sales and delivery capacity. “Our partners extend our sales reach, expand our delivery capacity ...,” he said.
In a separate update, Oracle said eligible customers could apply more of their Oracle Universal Credits toward qualifying Marketplace purchases. The company also added ways for partners to work with Oracle sales teams and expanded customer purchasing options, describing the changes as complementary to the partner commitment. Benefits and incentives remain subject to program terms and eligibility requirements.
Oracle’s calendar lists a Partner Success Summit for Sunday, Oct. 25, during Oracle AI World in Las Vegas, scheduled through Oct. 28.
