“Outlander” season 4 is just around the corner and fans are getting more excited as its release date draws near. The installment is based on Diana Gabaldon's “The Fiery Cross” novel and it will be followed by two more seasons that will be based on the books “A Breath of Snow” and “Ashes.”
Now, Starz just teased fans by dropping a new poster featuring Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe. The image shows Claire Randall (Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Heughan) standing on the edge of a cliff while they hold hands. The words "Brave the new world" are emblazoned on the poster.
“Fans can rest assured their beloved Claire and Jamie will be back facing new challenges, adversaries and adventures in seasons five and six as we delve into American history and continue the story of the Frasers as they settle in the New World,” The Hollywood Reporter quoted Starz CEO Chris Albrecht as saying in a statement.

The “Outlander” season 4 poster was released this past weekend and fans have commented on and retweeted the image as they expressed excitement for the drama’s upcoming release.
The tagline that accompanies the poster seems to refer to the Frasers bravery as they settle in a new place, which is America. Previously, it was reported that Jamie and Claire will be able to finally spend time together as a married couple and they will sail to a new location to start a quieter life. However, it seems they will still encounter conflicts in their new home as Jamie will retreat back to his old brutish self at some point.
Meanwhile, a few new cast members have joined in to provide support and they are Maria Doyle Kennedy (Jamie's aunt, Jocasta Cameron) and Ed Speelers (Stephen Bonnet, a pirate villain).
Meanwhile, as per Express, Sam Heughan hinted that Jamie’s old foe, Black Jack (Tobias Menzies), could still be alive. “The Spy Who Dumped Me” star recently posted an Instagram Story that shows a photo of a Jack Black Brewers Lager and the word “ALIVE” with exclamation points was written across the image.
Although this looks like a joke, it is possible that he is actually giving a hint that an old villain is returning. Black Jack is the drama’s most cruel villain yet and he was last seen in “Outlander” season 3.
“Outlander” season 4 is set to premiere on Nov. 4 on Starz.
