Droughtlander has not been easy for fans since season 3 wrapped up in December 2017. But it hasn't been too bad as well, with all the sneak previews and teases from the show's creators and cast having been all over the place since the “Outlander” season 4 wrapped up its production last July 5. Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe, who play Jamie and Claire Fraser, have talked about their excitement for season 4 in interviews. Also, who can forget the adorable promotional tweets that feature John Bell, who plays Ian Fraser, Jamie Fraser's younger brother?
Important announcement: @JohnBell just wrapped on Season 4 and it's incredibly heartwarming. #Outlander pic.twitter.com/XEFdrcNhZk

Aside from the return of much-beloved characters, fans can anticipate “Outlander” season 4 shifting its story from the European continent to the North American adventure. Along with the shift in locale, new characters such as Aunt Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy) and Stephen Bonnet (Ed Speleers) will be fan-speculation favorites as toss-ups for best supporting characters or the most horribly villainous characters that the Fraser family has yet to encounter.
Beyond Aunt Jocasta and Stephen Bonnet, there's a certain couple aside from Jamie and Claire Fraser that might be making a bigger splash on-screen when “Outlander” season 4 comes rolling into town in November. Brianna Fraser (Sophie Skelton) and Roger MacKenzie (Richard Rankin) may be getting bigger parts in the coming season, care of their shared heritage of being able to time travel.
Fans should be excited that if everything goes well for “Outlander” season 4's schedule, they can comfortably sit at home on Nov. 4 to enjoy more tales about the time-traveling Fraser family.
