A war between two kingdoms is looming in “Overlord” season 3 episode 10. The leader of the Re-Estize Kingdom, King Ramposa III, will underestimate Ainz Ooal Gown and decides to go to war against him.

The preview for “Overlord” season 3 episode 10 shows the nobles and royals of the Re-Estize Kingdom in a gathering. The meeting was called to read Ainz’s letter. The said letter in “Overlord” season 3 episode 10 contains Ainz’s message that is practically a declaration of war if King Ramposa III does not give in to his demands.

The video trailer shows that the nobles will debate whether or not they should fear Ainz and his threat of war. In the light novel, Gazef is the only man in the room to warn Ramposa III about Ainz’s real capacity and even suggests that they just agree with Ainz's demands. But he will apparently be sidelined in the meeting in “Overlord” season 3 episode 10.

In the light novel’s “The Magic Caster of Destroy” arc, Ainz demands that King Ramposa III surrender the E-Rantel city to Ainz. It is not surprising for Ainz to be interested in E-Rantel since the city is known for having a large number of pharmacists and a huge recovery potion production. However, it is unlikely that “Overlord” season 3 episode 10 will show whether or not Ainz will take over E-Rantel.

On the other hand, Ainz has previously formed an alliance with Emperor Jircniv of the Baharuth Empire. Together, they formed the Sorcerer Kingdom, with Ainz on the lead. They want to make Nazarick and E-Rantel the main fortresses of their kingdom, which explains their demand in “Overlord” season 3 episode 10.

While Ramposa III prepares for the war, Jircniv also has some things to deal with. The Emperor needs to gain more strong allies after he severed ties with Fluder. As the next episode’s title suggests, fans may be seeing war strategy and alliance building in “Overlord” season 3 episode 10 but not the actual war yet. Streaming platforms such as Crunchyroll and Funimation will simulcast “Preparation for War” on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at 9 a.m. ET.
