Without a doubt, a lot of anime fans are looking forward to the premiere of “Overlord” Season 4, but news regarding the show has been rather scarce. Neither the projected timeline for the airing of the first episode nor the plot have been officially provided. Fortunately, there are other ways to figure out when the anime is coming back and what it has to offer to viewers.
Since a lot of the most recent seasons have been based entirely on the light novels, the plot for “Overlord” Season 4 will include a whole lot of surprising and comical developments. Chief among them is the matter of Ainz sneaking into the Baharut Empire and taking it down without even meaning to. This is already enough to make the return of the anime worth looking forward to, which is speculated to be around 2020, Akanagi recently reported.
Then there is the matter of Ainz taking on some Ice Dragons, massacring honest to goodness mole people, and then meeting with some dwarves in order to get their forging secrets. Simply put, “Overlord” Season 4 is going to involve a ton of adventures that would have been suitable for a season each.
What will really make “Overlord” Season 4 worth watching is seeing Ainz finish his fight with Jaldabaoth who is actually his subordinate, Demiurge. This will likely serve as the final battle scene in the upcoming season, and although it will be a pretend fight, it will likely be an epic one, nonetheless. This will then put Ainz one step closer to becoming the ruler of the world.
All of these are not just speculation either since they are all in the light novels. However, there might be a difference in how the sequence will be arranged in “Overlord” Season 4. This already happened with the previous seasons, after all, which was done in order to help make the story easier to grasp.
