Park Shin Hye recently got together with Yoo Ah In again in a new press conference for their movie titled “#ALIVE.” During the event, the two talked about their movie and at one point, revealed how they prepared for their roles.
The cast and production crew of the upcoming movie, led by Director Jo Il Hyung, attended the conference on June 15. It was arranged to promote and let the fans know that the film’s premiere is pushing through amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
How the actors prepared for the movie
During the event, Park Shin Hye and Yoo Ah In were asked how they prepared for their roles. Was there a movie or drama that they used for reference?
The actor said that he really likes those zombie-themed movies and in fact, he watched them all already. He suggested that he was inspired by “Zombieland” the most because the actors’ acting in that film was so real.
As for Park Shin Hye, she said that she is not really into scary movies but started to watch and liked “The Walking Dead.” She also narrated how she portrayed her character as Yoo Bin in “#ALIVE.”
“When I received the script after that, I watched it again and I paid close attention to how the characters survived by using what they found as they moved around,” Soompi quoted the actress as saying. “I think since Yoo Bin is a character who enjoys hiking, she would have been able to use objects like that naturally.”
Shin Hye went on to say that fans usually see her in dramas and the characters she usually plays are energetic and playful. This time, her role is very different but she still did her best to present realistic acting.
What is the movie about and release date
“#ALIVE” is a thriller movie that tells the story of two survivors who were able to avoid getting infected with a mysterious illness that already affected most of the people in the city.
