Park Shin Hye is starring in her first-ever thriller-mystery movie titled “Call.” The premiere of this film will also mark her comeback on the big screen since she has not been in any movies in the last three years.
Shin Hye explains why she chose this project
The cast of “Call” attended a press conference in Seoul last February and they were asked about a lot of things about the movie. One of the questions on Park Shin Hye was shy she chose this project to be her comeback movie.
The 30-year-old actress said that the first time she read the script, she got goosebumps and she wanted to do something of this genre. She explained that since her debut in the entertainment business, she has not tried this kind of movie and role yet.
“I haven’t tried this movie genre yet, and I picked ‘Call’ because I find Seo Yeon’s character very charming,” Soompi quoted her as saying. “She has a side to her that’s completely different from the upright characters I’ve played so far, so it felt really new and made acting fun.”
Movie’s release date moved to a later time
Park Shin Hye’s “Call” was supposed to be released on March 31 but it was delayed for obvious reasons. The showing date was affected by the coronavirus pandemic and currently, there is no new release date in Korea yet. However, a premiere date of “Call” in Russia has been re-set and it will be out on May 21.
