The US Defense Department had awarded a $7.8 billion contract modification to Lockheed Martin Corp for procuring 127 F-35 Lot 16 aircraft.
The additional deal brings the total deal between the company and the Pentagon for delivering 398 F-35s to $30 billion.
The deal covers F-35 deliveries for the US and international customers over the program’s next three lots, from lots 15 through 17.
The contract also includes deliveries of F-35s to Belgium, Finland, and Poland.
