It is known to many fans that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have no problems sharing some juicy information about their relationship. But the “Saturday Night Live” star went beyond the timeline by admitting he had fantasized about her even before they have met.
The 24-year-old comedian was interviewed by Howard Stern on Monday for SiriusXM. Davidson talked about an array of topics but, as fans would have guessed, his relationship with Grande was one of the highlights.
Davidson is not one to filter himself when it comes to gushing over Grande. In the said interview he admitted to having Grande as the girl in his fantasies even before their first encounter. “I was j****** off to her before I met her,” the “SNL” star admitted (via Billboard).
On a more serious note, Davidson also expressed how he thinks he and Grande are meant to be together. “Even if they're good people, some people are not good in relationships together," he said. "And I just think we're supposed to be together."
Davidson and Grande first met in 2016 on the set of “SNL.” But they only started dating earlier this year. After a month, Davidson popped the question and now they are on their way to tying the knot.
The “SNL” regular also briefly talked about their upcoming wedding. While Davidson and Grande do not seem to be in a hurry to the altar, he revealed that they are working on it and that they do “have a game plan.”
Davidson has also shared some thoughts about the incident at Aretha Franklin’s funeral. Bishop Charles H. Ellis III, the preacher leading the ceremony, drew ire from fans after being too handsy and appearing to be touching Grande’s breast. Ellis has since issued an apology.
Though Grande seemed to be uncomfortable at that moment with Ellis on stage, the singer decided not to press charges. Authorities earlier told the Detroit Free Press that Grande’s camp deemed the incident “accidental.”
And in Davidson’s interview with Howard Stern, the comedian confirmed he shares the same sentiment as Grande. “We both don't think that was intentional. He's a really tall guy, she's very little. He was trying to be funny,” Davidson explained. “He did a s***** joke, broadcast it on TV. S***** situation...I feel bad for that guy.”
