The prestigious BBJ CEO Awards program brings together world-class business leaders in the Birmingham area who are most successful in leading their teams and industries. The 2017 finalists were chosen from a record field of nominations.

The BBJ’s CEO Awards selected finalists based on various criteria. They include the CEO’s contributions to their company, the company’s track record of performance, the CEO’s role in their industry and impact in the community, among other factors.
All finalists will be featured in the Dec. 8 edition of the BBJ. They will all also be recognized at a special CEO Awards event on Dec. 7 at Regions Field where winners in each category will be announced. During the event, Emily Branum, Command Alkon’s Chief Legal Officer and Vice President of Strategic Planning, will be presenting about the company and Phil’s stewardship as CEO.
