Quincy, Calif., April 10, 2018 -- Plumas Bank recently announced that Aaron Boigon has been promoted to executive vice president, chief information officer. In his role, Boigon oversees all technology operations and project management at the Bank. He is responsible for the deployment of new up-to-date technologies, enhancement of clients' technology experience, improving operational efficiency, and the provisioning of security and cyber threat protection.

Boigon joined Plumas Bank in September 2013. He has over 25 years of technology and business management experience. He graduated with honors and distinction from the University of Washington in 1997, double majoring in philosophy and history. Boigon’s intrinsic interest in computers led him to a career in the technology field. He spent five years of his career in Silicon Valley working in the technology industry and 10 years working for a leading IT services company in Reno, Nevada. Boigon recently expanded his operational knowledge of banking and has completed a three-year degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.
