As Express reports, production for the final season of the hit British TV show “Poldark” has started. This is despite the fact that last season’s finale had just aired. Then again, there would be no sense in wasting time since “Poldark” Season 5 signifies the end of the show. As such, the story is already set for the crew and cast to portray.

Just to give fans an idea of where the production is at now, a peek behind the curtain of “Poldark” Season 5 was shared via “Poldark’s” official Twitter account. The post featured Aidan Turner and Richard Hope with the caption “Some friends you can always bank on!” It’s a heartwarming image of faces whom fans have come to love for many years.

On that note, not everything is happy news in the world of “Poldark” Season 5 since last season’s finale saw Demelza Poldark on the verge of giving in to Hugh Armitage’s (Josh Whitehouse) courtship. Speaking to RadioTimes, actress Eleanor Tomlinson comments on the matter without really giving anything away.

“It’s very funny, but very sweet,” the actress said. “I think Demelza just feels honoured by the attention – no one has ever written her poetry before, and Ross has never sat down with a sketchbook and taken the time to draw her. Demelza is swept away by it all.”

For those who have yet to read the books, the events in “Poldark” Season 5 are going to be a thrilling mystery. Since production has just started, there has been no set premiere date announced. However, “Poldark” Season 5 can be expected to air in 2019.
