“Power” Season 6 is going to be returning next year and it would seem that the people behind it already know how the show is going to end. The series has the potential to be a major hit, what with the many complex layers of the narrative to pay attention to. As a show about a club owner who has a finger in the drug trade while also trying to be a family person, its 2019 return is going to be interesting.
As Bustle notes, it isn’t yet known when in 2019 “Power” Season 6 is going to premiere. However, by taking a look at the show’s history, estimates can be narrowed down to it being between June or July. The publication did note that there was a recent leak, which seems to have spoiled the ending for the entire series.
As executive producer and series creator Courtney Kemp said in an interview with Deadline recently, this show was never meant to last that long. In fact, it would seem that “Power” Season 6 is quite close to the end of the road for the program.
"This show was not designed to go 10 seasons," Kemp said. "It was not designed to go 15 seasons. It’s not a crime procedural or a sitcom. It’s a closed-ended story that really begins and, in some way, ends with Ghost."
With this being the case, it was always inevitable that the crime drama was going to be a finite source of entertainment. In the case of “Power” Season 6, things might become even more complicated than anyone would think and could spell the end for the series.
Until “Power” Season 6 actually premieres in 2019, however, this is all just speculation. Fans will want to tune in for that. It would seem that 50 Cent is set to appear at some point, Otaku Art reports.
