‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7’s episode 12, titled “These Boots Were Made for Stalking,” will follow Emily as she gets into conflict with Addison, a student at Rosewood High School.
The synopsis for “These Boots Were Made for Stalking” posted on TV Guide reads, “Emily (Shay Mitchell) butts heads with a teenager who's a new version of high school Ali (Sasha Pieterse); Spencer (Troian Bellisario) confronts her mother about keeping family secrets;
Aria (Lucy Hale) confides in Holden (Shane Coffey) about her relationship with Ezra (Ian Harding); Spencer turns to Det. Furey (Nicholas Gonzales) for help; and Jenna (Tammin Sursok) stirs up more trouble when she returns to Rosewood with some insight into Noel Kahn (Brant Daugherty) and recent events.”
In the upcoming episode, Emily will get into a conflict with Addison, a new character who is likened to the Ali back in highschool. A sneak peek for episode 12 showed Emily confronting Addison after class about her whereabouts after she missed practice. Addison is obviously disinterested in the conversation as she stays busy with her phone. Emily says, “Addison, there’s no record of you leaving sick yesterday.”
The student gets defensive and replies, “When does this become a federal investigation?” Emily insists that she needs a valid excuse to get out of responsibilities. Addison becomes exasperated and says, “My head was throbbing. Listening to your rusty whistle wasn’t gonna help.”
Emily then tells her that she’s temporarily not allowed to join the activities for Saturday to which Emily threatens, “You sure you wanna do that?” The student then gets up from her seat and walks out the classroom in defiance.
When Emily talks to Ali about her friend’s current situation, Addison is seen eavesdropping on their conversation. By the end of the clip, Addison has a smile on her face that signals worse things to come for the Liars. It will be interesting to see if the teenager is connected to AD in some way, considering that her real name is Addison Derringer.
According to Wet Paint, the character is a student in Ali’s class at Rosewood High School and is a member of Emily’s swim team. She was introduced in season 7 and is portrayed by Ava Allen.
‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7’s episode 12, titled “These Boots Were Made for Stalking,” is scheduled to be released on Freeform on April 25, 2017. It was directed by Ron Lagomarsino and written by Oliver Goldstick. It will be followed by episode 13, titled "Hold Your Piece," scheduled to be released on May 2 and directed by Marta Cunningham.
