‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7’s episode 3, entitled “The Talented Mr. Rollins”, will follow the Liars as they struggle to save Alison from a dark fate during her confinement at a mental health facility. It was speculated that the episode will find Elliot meeting his death.
The synopsis on Carter Matt stated, “Still reeling from the trauma of Hanna’s abduction and dark fate, the Liars must shift their focus to another one of their own. In order to protect Alison from Uber A’s threats, the PLLs snap into action at a chance to rescue her from the hospital. However, in doing so, they make a deadly mistake that changes everything.”
It seems that the Liars have another challenge to tackle after Ali’s (Sasha Pieterse) condition worsens. In the promo’s opening sequence, Ali is seen forcefully strapped on a hospital bed with a face mask. Emily (Shay Mitchell) then tells the Liars, “Ali’s life is in danger and it’s our fault.” The girls eventually gather enough evidence after deciding to report their suspicions to the police. In the final scenes, Ali is seen escaping the mental health facility in a haste and is chased in the woods.
The preceding episode, entitled “Bedlam”, saw the Liars growing suspicious of Elliot Rollins (Huw Collins). According to an article on International Business Times, the girls are yet to discover the true identity of Uber A but have decided that Elliot is not to be trusted. Elliot’s intentions had been a mystery since his appearance on season 6.
It was speculated that episode 3 will reveal the Liars’ victim in the season premiere. The first episode saw the girls burying a yet unidentified body. It was suggested that the body may be Elliot’s after all.
‘Pretty Little Liars’ is a teen drama-thriller television series loosely based on the books authored by Sara Shepard. Season 7’s episode 3 is scheduled to premiere on Freeform on July 5, 2016. It is directed by Zetna Fuentes and written by Jonell Lennon.
