‘Prison Break’ season 5’s episode 4, titled “The Prisoner’s Dilemma,” will follow Michael Scofield as he makes a final attempt on escaping containment from Ogygia with his allies Whip and Ja. Meanwhile, Lincoln will do everything in his power to help them escape.
The synopsis for “The Prisoner’s Dilemma” posted on TV Guide reads, “Michael (Wentworth Miller), Whip (Augustus Prew) and Ja(Rick Yune) make their last attempt to break from Ogygia, but must make a deal with the devil to do so.
Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) races against the clock to help with the escape, as T-Bag (Robert Knepper) meets with Kellerman (Paul Adelstein) to gather more info on Michael's resurrection.”
The upcoming episode is set to follow Michael and his allies, Whip and Ja, as they attempt to make a final desperate escape from Ogygia. According to the Sun, Michael’s mission will be one of the biggest planned escapes seen on the show. Lincoln will continue to help with the successful execution of Michael’s escape.
It was speculated that Lincoln will meet his eventual demise in the current season as he tries to save his brother. Michael was initially thought of as dead until it revealed that he faked his own death but now survives in a Yemeni prison.
His new escape plan proves to be a life and death situation. It will be interesting to see what great lengths Michael will have to go through in order to gain freedom.
The previous episode, titled "The Liar," saw Michael thrown into solitary confinement as a consequence of his attempts to escape Ogygia. The unsuccessful escape plan also led to the death of one of Michael’s cellmates, Muza. By the end of the episode, Michael was seen using up the last of his cellphone’s battery life to record a goodbye message to Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies).
‘Prison Break’ season 5’s episode 4, titled “The Prisoner’s Dilemma,” is scheduled to be released on Fox on April 25, 2017. It was directed by Guy Ferland and written by. It will be followed by episode 5, titled "Contingency," scheduled to be released on May 2.
