“Prison Break” season 6 will certainly happen, though, many details are not set in stone yet. Aside from questions about its plot and release date, many fans might also be wondering if Sarah Wayne Callies will reprise her role as Sara Tancredi.
Fox has yet to reveal the official list of cast members for “Prison Break” season 6. But fans can surely count on Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller to return as Lincoln and Michael, respectively.
Sara is one of the most important characters in the series so it is not surprising that fans would also see her return for “Prison Break” season 6. However, it appears that nothing completely certain about this matter at the moment. But, on the bright side, Wayne Callies previously expressed she is open to the possibility of reprising her role after season 5.
“I’ve thought that the door for ‘Prison Break’ has closed for me personally so many times, I’m not even going to think about whether or not it’s open or closed now because I keep being wrong,” Wayne Callies previously told International Business Times when asked about “Prison Break” season 6.
The statement above was published a couple of days before season 5 finale aired on May 30, 2017. And it also appears that Wayne Callies did not give a straight answer because she was speaking in the context that “Prison Break” season 6 was not yet confirmed at the time. But since Fox renewed the series for another revival installment in early 2018, Wayne Callies’ words might also be an indication that she would gladly come back.
Meanwhile, Digital Spy also took note of season 5 writer and co-executive producer Vaun Wilmott’s statement, “If the right storyline comes along, I am sure the gang would be back to do it again.” And fans know well that Wayne Callies, Purcell, and Miller are some of the fan-favorite cast members.
