It was confirmed that the production of “Prison Break” season 6 is underway and it's lead actor, Dominic Purcell, who plays Lincoln Burrows in the series was one of the people to announce that they have gone back to filming. He usually shares bits of news via social media, and they always gain many likes, proving that the fans can’t wait for “PB6.”
The filming and plot
“Prison Break” season 6 filming is ongoing, and this is a big assurance that the sixth installment if finally coming back. When the show airs, it is expected to show Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) is out of prison and trying to live a normal life with his family. But it was said that although everything seems going fine, he will struggle to cope with his new life due to the trauma.
It was said that there would be flashbacks as well to give some backstory about Michael, who is also likely to resume his work for the CIA. Moreover, there were reports that stated Alexander Mahone (William Fichtner) might return in the “Prison Break” season 6, and this prospect got many fans excited since they last saw him in season 4.
Cast and release date
“Prison Break” season 6 will air with most of its main cast intact. This means we will see Purcell and Miller with Rockmond Dunbar (Benjamin Miles Franklin), Sarah Wayne Callies (Sara Tancredi), Robert Knepper (T-Bag or Theodore Bagwell), Amaury Nolasco (Fernando Sucre) and Inbar Lavi (Sheba). Fichtner's return has been swirling around, but there is no firm confirmation about it yet. As for the release date, the series’s premiere is not yet available at this time.

Dominic Purcell recently confirmed that he is in a relationship with Jodhi Meares, an Australian model. She is a divorcee who broke up with her second husband, Nick Tsindos, in 2017. The “Prison Break” season 6 star posted a photo of himself with his new partner and this officially confirmed their romance.
