Philadelphia, PA, July 12, 2017 -- Prosperoware, a leading enterprise software company delivering innovative technology transforming the business of legal and professional services, today announces the successful integration of Prosperoware Milan Add-on features with iManage Cloud for Am Law 50 firm, Baker Botts. The firm selected Milan iManage Add-ons as part of its initial iManage deployment in 2013 to enable matter centricity, ease administration, and improve the iManage end-user experience. Milan’s functionality was considered crucial to the cloud environment as the firm achieved success in a remarkable 90-day migration.

Firms are facing tremendous pressures – and technology is key. User adoption, cybersecurity, “need to know” access, accommodating matter file transfers into and out of the firm, enabling more secure service desk controls, and efficient management of systems is crucial. Prosperoware iManage Add-ons provide the key piece that enables firms to effectively scale and succeed with their iManage deployments, whether on premises or in the cloud.
In late-2016, the firm’s new CIO, Rick Boulin, planned dual migrations to Windows 10 and iManage Cloud. Karen Lockhart, Associate Director, Enterprise Business Systems for Baker Botts, comments: “Milan features were fundamental to the strategy we had initially set for our iManage DMS experience, and we needed to ensure those features would come with us.”
Baker Botts successfully completed their rapid migration to the iManage cloud within the challenge of the 90-day timeline; due to performance concerns, several select offices remained on-premises. Milan functionality was delivered across the full deployment, both in the cloud and to those few on premises locations. Feedback was thoroughly positive. Karen adds: “It has been a seamless transition for our end-users who interact with the software. Above and beyond the success of the software, it’s the hallmark of an exceptional technology partner that the Prosperoware team jumped-in to ensure our success. We truly value their partnership and look forward to continued success.”
Sheetal Jain, CTO of Prosperoware, adds, “We’re always pleased to work with the excellent leadership at Baker Botts and assist firms in achieving their strategic goals. We look forward to the continued success of our partnership and congratulate all involved on a job well-done.”
