A small group of demonstrators gathered outside Trump International Golf Club on Saturday to protest President Donald Trump’s immigration policies. While Trump spent hours at the club, protesters waved Mexican, Guatemalan, and U.S. flags, holding signs and chanting, "Immigrants Make America Great," a play on Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan.
One sign in Spanish read, "The American Dream is also ours." The demonstration was visible as Trump’s motorcade exited the club in the afternoon.
Trump, who took office less than three weeks ago, has acted swiftly on his immigration agenda. He has ordered military support for border security, imposed a broad asylum ban, and sought to restrict birthright citizenship. These measures align with his campaign promise to crack down on illegal immigration.
Protests and rallies often follow Trump during his visits, with both critics and supporters using these gatherings to voice their views on his policies.
