Uniqueness: 100%Puma and Formula 1 have unveiled their latest collaborative capsule following the sportswear brand's recent agreement to be the official supplier for top-tier international racing.
Footwear Selection
According to Yahoo, the capsule features three distinct footwear models, each available in multiple color variations. The collection includes the Future Cat Motorsport, CA Pro, and Leadcat 2.0 slide.
Leading the footwear lineup is the Future Cat Motorsport, a driving shoe with a partial leather upper and innovative ProFoam technology in the midsole. This shoe is in black and white color schemes with vibrant red accents.
Puma's CA Pro, a classic tennis shoe from 1982, offers black and white options adorned with Formula 1 branding details, including unique chains and metal lace dubraes.
The Leadcat 2.0 slide completes the footwear range, introducing a third pink variant alongside the black-and-white editions.
In addition to the footwear, the capsule encompasses a range of apparel items such as tracksuits, hoodies, T-shirts, sweatpants, and football jerseys, all following the same color palette.
Puma's Involvement in Formula 1
While Puma has been involved in Formula 1 since 2001 through partnerships with individual teams, its collaboration with Formula 1 has deepened significantly since becoming the official supplier. Last year's enhanced deal coincides with Formula 1's surge in popularity, as per a press release.
A notable addition to the partnership is A$AP Rocky's appointment as creative director, which will infuse the collection with his unique fashion and streetwear influence.
The debut Puma x Formula 1 capsule is now available on Puma's website and in select stores. Prices range from $40 for the slides to $120 for the CA Pro sneakers, with apparel items priced between $40 and $110.
The collaboration brings a fresh perspective to motorsport apparel and accessories, infusing them with street-savvy aesthetics that appeal to racing enthusiasts and the fashion-conscious public.
