Michael Madrigale, ambassador for Planet Bordeaux Wines in the U.S., will present a selection of white and red wines combining terroir, savoir-faire, and vision artfully paired with the cuisine of talented local chefs. Bordeaux winemakers will share their wines and tell firsthand the stories behind the labels. “We are in the golden age of Bordeaux AOC and Bordeaux Superior AOC,” explained Madrigale. “Quality has never been so high, terroir has never been so expertly expressed and prices have never been so reasonable. As sales and recognition continue to grow in the U.S., we find ourselves at the precipice of nation-wide movement. Join us.”
Members of the trade and press will spend the evening with winemakers and representatives from Château Jean Faux, Château d’Abzac, Domaine de l’île Margaux, Château Fleur Haut Gaussens, Vignobles Ducourt, Veyret Latour, and Vignobles Raymond.
In addition to the dinners, Michael Madrigale will present two seminars, one to sommelier students at the Culinary Institute LeNôtre in Houston on September 13th, and another to representatives from Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board-affiliated stores on Monday, September 18th in Drexel Hill, PA.
