‘Quantico’ season 2’s episode 18, titled “KUMONK,” will follow Alex as she leads an operation to expose collaborators that are planning to destroy President Claire Haas’ reputation. Meanwhile, Caleb is set to return to the series.
The lengthy synopsis for episode 18 posted on TVBuzer reads, “A despondent Clay (guest star Hunter Parrish) meets with the President (Marcia Cross) to discuss the future of the task force, but he's interrupted by the arrival of his brother.
Meanwhile, Alex (Priyanka Chopra) leads an operation to expose the collaborators' plans to sink the President's reputation, and she teaches Owen (Blair Underwood) to trust his instincts.”
Alex will have face some difficulties ahead as she heads an operation that seeks to expose collaborators who are out to destroy President Claire Haas’ reputation. Alex and her team will try and neutralize a series of riots coming up in different areas in the city.
Chopra’s character will also teach Owen to trust his own instincts. It seems that Alex and Owen will be spending a lot of time together in the new episode.
According to Cartermatt, the upcoming episode is set to feature the return of Caleb Haas, but this could mean some trouble for his brother, Clay. It seems that Clay is adamant about discussing the future of the covert task force with his mother, President Haas, but Caleb’s return may disrupt all his plans.
Showrunner Joshua Safran hinted at Caleb’s eventual return during a previous interview with TV Guide. The character was first introduced in season 1’s episode one and was last seen in season 1’s episode 22, although he was mentioned in season 2’s episode 17.
During the interview, Safran also explained what Clay’s relationship with Caleb was like. He said, “The day that Graham[Rogers] showed up on set for his first scene with Hunter [Parrish] -- they are friends in real life -- it was just so perfect. The episode was long where that first scene transpired and the editor had rightfully cut that scene down, and both myself and the other writers were like, "No, no, no, every single moment of that scene has to be in," so we cut other stuff to accommodate it.”
He continued, “Caleb is such a rabble-rouser and he pokes, and the worst thing for Clay is to be poked. Their dynamic is just really perfect. Claire is also in that scene, so it's really great to see all of them together.”
‘Quantico’ season 2’s episode 18, titled “KUMONK,” is scheduled to air on ABC on April 17, 2017. It was directed by David McWhirter and written by Justin Brenneman. It will be followed by episode 19, titled “MHORDER”, scheduled to be released on April 24 and directed by Jennifer Lynch.
