SPOKANE, Wash., April 15, 2016 -- RLHC (Red Lion Hotels Corporation) (NYSE:RLH) announced today the appointment of Leslee Torres as Vice President of Innovation and Strategy. Torres was tapped to influence the full spectrum of sales, marketing and technology efforts in her new role and will be reporting directly to RLHC President and CEO, Greg Mount.
"I am excited to join RLHC and very much look forward to working with the leadership team,” Torres said. “I admire the passion the company has for transforming the guest experience and look forward to contributing to continued success and leadership in the industry."
Torres brings with her 14 years of strategy and information technology experience, working most recently for Starwood Hotels and Resorts. Leveraging Starwood's shared data platform, these programs influenced $500 million in revenue in 2015 and were growing at a rate of 40% per annum.
"I am thrilled that Leslee will be joining our team," said Mount. "She shares our focus on innovation and mission to redefine the hospitality industry. Leslee is a leader with a proven track record for taking systems to new heights of service.”
Prior to Starwood, Torres worked as a management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Customer Strategy practice after spending five years with General Electric running large-scale technology implementation and user adoption programs.
