“We will have invested millions in a complete refurbishment of the property inside and out when we reopen as a Red Lion Hotel,” said Jeff Carter of Carter Hospitality Group, LLC., whose affiliate owns the property and also owns the Red Lion Hotel Orlando – Kissimmee Maingate, which opened last month. “We are in the process of incorporating the new guest room design in this incredible location, and the plans for the renovation are going as scheduled.”
“Dreams really do come true,” said RLHC Senior Vice President and Chief Franchise Officer Brian Quinn. “Within a month, we have signed nearly 1,000 rooms in the Disney main gate area, both owned and operated by the same highly regarded group. Both Orlando-Kissimmee hotels are great sister properties to our successful location near Disneyland® Park in Anaheim, California.”

When it reopens, the hotel will feature 416 guest rooms and suites, an outdoor pool with a lazy river and children’s play area, a full service restaurant, a poolside sports bar, business center, multilingual staff, complimentary parking and concierge services.
