PALO ALTO, Calif., June 15, 2017 -- NTT Innovation Institute Inc. (NTT i³), the prestigious Silicon Valley-based innovation center for NTT Group, one of the world’s largest ICT companies, announced that Aric Dromi has joined the company’s Executive Advisory Board. A veteran speaker, futurologist, and digital philosopher, Aric is a professional troublemaker, disrupting how business is done by imagining the future and the potentials that drive it.
“We are extremely excited to have Aric join our Executive Advisory Board,” said Nina Simosko, CEO and President, NTT i³. “Aric is my favorite kind of rebel: Smart enough to survive in a large corporation but continuously and politely railing against the establishment. Together, we are re-thinking and defining new opportunities for digital transformation in global industries to change how we work, live and play.”
Currently, Aric resides in Gothenburg, Sweden and splits his time between his role as the in-house futurologist at Volvo cars, where he brings to reality what was once thought to be science fiction – such as self-driving cars, cars talking to each other, and safety systems that predict danger – and running his company TEMPUS.MOTU. As the company’s co-founder, he is changing the way people experience the world and think about thinking, as well as transforming the way people understand change. Aric is recognized worldwide for speeches that frame questions and help people identify and abandon old paradigms and rethink thinking.
“I am psyched to join NTT i³’s Executive Advisory Board,” said Dromi. “This is an exciting time for NTT i³ as they lead in innovation and digital transformation. I look forward to working with their talented team and contributing to future success.”
