Ricoh Imaging Co Ltd has launched the Ricoh WG-80 digital compact camera that is waterproof to a depth of 14 meters for up to two hours of continuous operation that sells for 42,800 yen.
Featuring a compact, lightweight body design, and various shooting functions the camera performs superbly and dependably even in harsh, demanding outdoor conditions.
It is also shockproof against a fall from a height of 1.6 meters; is freeze-proof against temperatures as low as -10°C, is dustproof, is crushproof against weights up to 100-kilogram force.
This camera was created so that anybody may record the joy and excitement of numerous outdoor activities in a more casual, simple, and worry-free manner.
Despite its small size and lightweight, the WG-80 has remarkable fundamental specs that exceed typical digital cameras and smartphones in harsh outdoor settings.
It also boasts a six-LED Macro Lights unit with a maximum illumination intensity that is nearly double that of its predecessor. The photographer may also change the light level for better operability in close-range photos using this camera.
