Robert Pattinson and Lily Collins posed for the red carpet together at a recent event. And with only that, rumors now fly that the two are dating.
NW was one of the first to publications that suggested Pattinson and Collins have likely started dating. However, these speculations seemed like they were only fueled by their recent appearance at a Go Campaign event.
Pattinson and Collins hosted the Go Campaign gala last Oct. 20 in Los Angeles, California. This explains why the two were seen together for the entire event and even posed for the cameras while at the event’s red carpet.
Meanwhile, Pattinson and Collins were rumored getting closer, especially during the event that happened earlier this month. A source of NW said the actors were seen “whispering in each other’s ears and cracking jokes.”
On the other hand, an insider reportedly told Gossip Cop that the claims made by NW’s source are inaccurate. Pattinson and Collins are “just friends,” according to the fact-checking media outlet.
NW also mentioned that Collins could have been Pattinson’s onscreen lady love because she also auditioned for the role of Bella Swan, which is true. However, this connection and the fact that they are both Go Campaign ambassadors do not necessarily mean they are together.
Just Jared reported that Collins wore a Giambattista Valli dress while her co-host, Pattinson, sported a suit by Dior Homme. The charity gala was also attended by other Hollywood stars, including actor Sean Penn, “Lost” alum Evangeline Lilly, “Star Trek Beyond” star Sofia Boutella, and more.
It is also important to note that having Pattinson and Collins as hosts for the event is no surprise. Along with Ewan McGregor, the stars of “Twilight” and “Love, Rosie” are the official ambassadors of the organization.
As one of the first Go Campaign ambassadors, Pattinson supported the House That Twilight Built initiative. According to the organization’s official website, the campaign aimed to provide “lodging, food, and a place to study to girls from rural villages in Cambodia as they re-enter secondary school.”
