SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 08, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Rodan & Fields, LLC (“Rodan + Fields”), a leading premium skincare brand and unique technology-driven social enterprise platform, today announced that its Board of Directors has chosen Diane Dietz as the Company’s next President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. Ms. Dietz, who most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President at Safeway, Inc., succeeds Lori Bush. Ms. Bush recently announced her intention to retire and will remain a member of Rodan + Fields’ Board of Directors.

Ms. Dietz has more than 25 years of experience running large and complex businesses and brands. While at Safeway, a leading food and drug retailer, Ms. Dietz was responsible for the multi billion dollar P&L of the business units and all functions related to marketing, merchandising, loyalty/digital strategy and the award-winning private label business. She was also responsible for the company's extensive supply chain, including all distribution and manufacturing.

Prior to her position at Safeway, Ms. Dietz spent nearly 20 years with Procter & Gamble (P&G) in the Health & Beauty sector. She held various positions in brand management and general management, leading some of the world’s most recognizable brands. At P&G, she was widely credited with rejuvenating the Crest Brand and leading the expansion of the brand to include Crest Whitestrips, Pro Health and Glide. She played a lead role in the Gillette acquisition, with responsibility for integrating the Oral B business unit in North America and globally. A recipient of numerous industry awards, Ms. Dietz sits on the Boards of Directors for the Whirlpool Corporation and Zoosk. She holds a B.S. in Marketing & Economics from Northern Illinois University.
