According to Southwest Airlines Super User Executive Sponsor Leah Koontz, Vice President and Controller, “The SAP Community and annual Event have been a critical success factor for us making the right decisions about how to get our program started with a foundation for long term sustainment and value. The program helped us optimize our SAP Investments for the next decade. The SAP Super User program is helping us connect business process improvements across the SAP Platform and other systems. Why do it alone when you have a ready and willing community to support you on your path?”
The SAPinsight conference is designed for "Super Users" and “Super User Leaders” within companies running SAP. These Super Users play a peer leadership role to ensure that their colleagues receive optimal value from SAP business applications in the context of business process execution excellence. These functional leaders support their teams in day-to-day operations, sharing best practice knowledge, and supporting successful deployment, adoption and return on investment in business technology across entire cross functional business process chains.
"We recognize the significant role that business process expert communities and peer-to-peer networking play in successful SAP deployments," said Henner Schliebs, Global Vice President Audience Marketing. "The SAPinsight Conference and Super User Community is unique in its approach to creating networking and educational opportunities for the many individuals spearheading innovation of digital technologies at thousands of SAP customer companies outside of the usual technology community."
“I am incredibly excited to have SAP continuing to support the Super User Community. The success of this Community is a direct benefit to the existing SAP customer base. We help companies to best leverage their existing internal resources, both people and SAP solutions, for business process execution excellence through accurate, timely, and relevant SAP end user support, business engagement and ownership in SAP projects, and ongoing operational business process improvements. This is so huge that, at this conference, we are releasing the first ever book that faces Super Users, The Super User (R)evolution. This is a game changer,” says Ginger Luttrell, Founder and President of SAPinsight.
“Super Users have long been connectors between technology and the business operations during projects, but in a more functionally siloed approach. Everyone knows this is not working. We need true cross-functional collaboration, support, and business process improvements on the business process execution level. It’s not just a dream, more and more companies are turning to formal Super User Communities and realizing big returns. I think it’s a business imperative.”
Highlights of the SAPinsight conference include:
- Pre-conference Annual Super User Leader Workshop (Oct. 25)
- Executive Welcome by SAPinsight Executive Advisory Board Chair, Tony Caesar, VP and CIO, PrimeSource Building Products; SAP North America’s Chief Customer Officer, Steve Shander
