COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Sept. 19, 2017 -- Insurance Technologies, LLC, a provider of sales and regulatory automation solutions for the insurance and financial services industries, announces the successful implementation of the FireLight® sales platform direct to consumer experience for Sagicor Life Insurance Company (Sagicor). The new consumer-facing user interface capability in FireLight provides Sagicor with a seamless digital experience for consumers to easily obtain a quick quote and apply for life insurance in minutes.
By leveraging their existing ForeSight® illustrations and their FireLight e-applications, along with the new FireLight consumer-facing feature, Sagicor created a new way for consumers to buy term life and whole life insurance. The reflexive and dynamic behind-the-scenes rules of FireLight guide the consumer through a streamlined electronic application and signing experience, making the insurance buying process simple and easy.
“Today, consumers rely on digital platforms more than ever and life insurance needs to keep pace with our lifestyles,” said Bart Catmull, president & chief operating officer, Sagicor. “We recognize that the current process for purchasing life insurance can be cumbersome and confusing. We wanted to change all of that. To create something that is simple and clear, with no pressure, no poking or prodding, and no waiting for days, weeks, or months to see if you qualify for coverage and at what price. Insurance Technologies has been a great partner in helping us realize our vision with our newly launched SagicorNow® direct to consumer digital experience.”
The FireLight consumer-facing user interface provides Sagicor the customization and branding aptitude to deliver a modernized and consistent brand experience throughout the full online buying process.
“As industry and consumer expectations continue to evolve, more emphasis is being placed on the selling and buying experiences of the consumer with a focus on the ease of doing business. Sagicor is a leader in this space, innovating the way they support their distribution and advisors, as well as, the way they engage with clients,” said Katherine Dease, vice president of product management, Insurance Technologies. “We are excited to be able to provide the advancing tools and capabilities of FireLight to enable our clients like Sagicor to create enhanced sales experiences across multiple sales channels as they develop new sales engagement methods.”
