Although the Samsung Galaxy S24 family, led by the Galaxy S24 Ultra, has only recently debuted, rumors of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE are already circulating. It may be released later in the year and provide a comparable experience to the flagship, albeit at a reduced cost.
Samsung Gears Up for Galaxy S24 FE Release: A Smart Buy for Fan Edition Enthusiasts
The Samsung Galaxy S24 has established itself as one of the top smartphones of 2024. Still, the impending release of the Galaxy S24 FE may deter some individuals from purchasing a new device just yet. Information leaked on X (via 91mobiles) provides us with an advanced glimpse at the forthcoming Fan Edition phone, as per T3.
In 2020, Samsung introduced its inaugural Fan Edition, which served as an extension of the Samsung Galaxy S20. It provided virtually identical hardware at a considerably more affordable price.
The strategy appears to attract early adopters with the product launch and then release a second phase in the form of the Fan Edition (FE) device. FE has been implemented in smartphones, tablets, and headphones.
Although the Galaxy S24 FE is anticipated to have a similar design to the Galaxy S24, it is not likely to feature a 6.4-inch display; rather, it will be positioned in size between the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus. The leak source indicates uncertainty regarding the screen size; however, based on past experience, it is likely that the device will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display.
Speculation suggests that the phone will be powered by either an Exynos 2400 or a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This may cause a division between regions, with the United States receiving the Snapdragon and Europe receiving the Exynos. However, it is also possible that Samsung will adopt the Exynos platform worldwide.
As was the case with the Galaxy S23 FE in 2023, the camera is likely to feature the same 50-megapixel sensor as the Galaxy S24; however, the front camera and telephoto will likely be diminished.
The battery is rated at 4500mAh, which seems adequate and should provide sufficient power for the duration of the day. The announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is not anticipated until October 2024 at the earliest, so it will be quite some time before this device becomes available.
Samsung to Introduce Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE: An Affordable Foldable Option
Samsung is rumored to be releasing an affordable foldable later this year. The new information we have just obtained indicates that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE may be the name of Samsung's portable device. This will serve as an economical substitute for its more sizable counterpart, according to WCCFTech.
Even more intriguing is the fact that in recent weeks, rumors have been suggesting that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will offer an Ultra variant that is even more expensive than the standard model. However, the new report contradicts that notion and suggests that you may be able to obtain a foldable phone that is more affordable.
Additionally, it is noteworthy that rumors suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE may be unveiled in the fourth quarter of this year. This indicates that it will almost certainly not be released alongside its senior sibling in July, which is logical given that Samsung prefers to draw attention to its flagship products rather than its more affordable alternatives.
This incident evokes memories of a time when the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE, and additional devices were unveiled concurrently with their elder sibling at a distinct event. Therefore, Samsung's proliferation of FE devices, which includes the Galaxy Z Fold Z FE, is logical. Please be aware that the name is susceptible to modification.
