Samsung formally announced the expanded lineup of its BESPOKE home appliances on Tuesday, May 11. The South Korean electronics company is also bringing these customizable products to the global market with the aim of boosting its sales amid the pandemic.
Samsung presents home solutions for the stay-at-home trend
Samsung is offering these BESPOKE home appliances that were mostly designed to accommodate the consumers’ needs at this time when everyone is staying at home due to lockdowns and restrictions brought about by the highly infectious coronavirus disease.
As per Yonhap News Agency, the company’s new home appliances lineup is already available in South Korea, and in the coming days or months, Samsung will be making them available in more countries. The BESPOKE products are meant to make lives better and more comfortable, and the best thing is that buyers can configure the appliances according to their choice of material, modules, and color.
With these features, Samsung’s customizable appliances can also blend with any kitchen or home motif and color themes. Home appliances will never look out of place anymore.
“We are delighted to announce the global expansion of our Bespoke lineup, offering comprehensive lifestyle solutions to empower consumers who are exploring their emerging lifestyle needs,” Samsung Electronic’s president and digital appliances business chief, Jae Seung Lee, said in a press release. “It is our mission to develop products that help consumers manage and run their lives better.”
The available products that can be modified based on preferences
Customers can choose from a range of home solutions in Samsung’s BESPOKE lineup. At this time, the company can customize 16 items, and these include refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, and air conditioners.
Samsung revealed that it will introduce the BESPOKE Kitchen package in the latter half of this year in the U.S. In addition to the refrigerators, the items in this set are microwaves, dishwashers, and ovens. The company will also make air purifiers and its clothing care brand, AirDresser, available in this region.
Finally, Samsung is planning to bring the BESPOKE line to North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, CIS countries, and select areas in Asia and Africa.
