‘Samurai 8’ chapter 30: Hachimaru and the crew discovered who Kotsuga really is in ‘Infiltration’

“Samurai 8” chapter 30 will be a big revelation about Kotsuga. It will be disclosed who he really is as Hachimaru, and the gang just discovered that he is not the Kotsuga who they think he is.

In the previous chapter 29 was called “Yoshitsune’s Calling,” Daruma confronted Benkei after he found out that he murdered Yoshitsune and his wife, and then took everything from him including his ship, key and the rest of his belongings. Daruma came to know what Benkei did after reading his memory.

Kotsuga’s identity reveal

Benkei comes clean and admitted that he stole everything from his former sensei. He took his ship, soul, key holder, and his wife. In other words, he tricked his master and overthrew him to gain his power.

Via his commlink, Kotsuga was able to hear everything that Benkei says, and he was really furious at his master. Later, it was revealed why Kotsuga was seething with anger; it was because he was played at by Benkei without knowing that he was the one same person who murdered his parents and took away everything from their family.

It turned out that Kotsuga is someone else, and he confessed that he is Sanda, Yoshitsune’s son. Hachimaru and the rest could not believe it, and they said that they could not trust him. They think he could attack them anytime, but Sanda apologized and told them that he just wants to avenge his parent’s death.

Hachimaru and team infiltrates Benkei’s ship

It appeared that Hachi and the team believed him and they allowed him to join them. Suddenly, Silent Sen, the ranking member of the Galactic Ball Federation's Special Forces, arrived and told Hachi that they want their help to catch Benkei in “Samurai 8” chapter 30.

Thus, Sen collected Benkei's memory so he can figure out what Benkei’s next move will be. They eventually found out that Benkei wants to collect the keys and souls of fallen samurai and then destroy the tournament planet and everyone in it using the cubic warheads.

In “Samurai 8” chapter 30, Sen launched a group mission that included Hachimaru’s group with Sanda. They need to pull out Yoshitsune’s key in the ship’s cockpit to stop the launch, or everything will be wiped out.

They split into two teams so they can infiltrate the ship through different sides and boost their success rate. They eventually arrived at the infiltration point, but Benkei detected some intruders, and he guessed that they are coming to steal something.

Meanwhile, based on the regular schedule of release, “Samurai 8” chapter 30 will be arriving on Dec. 15.
