The Saudi-led coalition said it destroyed a drone in the Riyadh region on Oct. 20, but the statement did not identify its origin or intended target.

The Saudi Press Agency carried the announcement from Major General Turki Al-Malki, spokesman for the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen.

The coalition had separately said it intercepted a ballistic missile headed toward Riyadh and blamed the Houthis for launching it. EconoTimes previously covered the drone interception and separate missile report.
