“Seal Team” Season 2 Episode 14 will be an important story to follow as it might hint at the future of Sonny (A.J. Buckley). Although the Tier-One Operator managed to survive the events that took place in “Time to Shine,” it’ll be difficult for Sonny to deal with the mental impact of what happened.
Being trapped in a confined space with water slowly flooding in certainly is one of the worse ways to go. Fortunately, the team managed to extricate Sonny out of a torpedo tube and revived him before any lasting damage could be done. But the trauma of it will bleed into “Seal Team” Season 2 Episode 14, CarterMatt reported.
The question is: how extensive is the mental damage that the ordeal caused Sonny? Hopefully, the scarring isn’t too deep. The team has always relied on Sonny on tough situations as the character has been written as someone who’s at home during a firefight. If that expertise is compromised, then whatever mission the team will take in “Seal Team” Season 2 Episode 14 will be filled with complications.
After all, a clear mind is one of the weapons that soldiers have during missions. But there is a silver lining that has emerged through all of this. Sonny bidding a heart-wrenching farewell to his comrades will only strengthen the bond of the team. Of course, there’s also the chance of others ribbing him in “Seal Team” Season 2 Episode 14 for his emotional breakdown within the sub.
This is especially true for Clay (Max Thieriot) as he was called “blonde Jesus” by Sonny for what appears to be one last amicable mockery. As for the release date of “Seal Team” Season 2 Episode 14, CBS has scheduled it to drop on March 13. As of this writing, the network has yet to release a trailer for the upcoming release and no synopsis has been provided either.
