The promotion of these six attorneys from the firm's London, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco offices is a result of the firm's commitment to the advancement of its talented lawyers in a way that serves to grow the practice to align with client needs.

Corley (Los Angeles) is a member of Sedgwick's Commercial Division and is a trial attorney representing major media, entertainment, advertising, sports and hospitality entities and clients in both litigation and transactions. She is particularly knowledgeable in cases involving music festivals and other live entertainment events, intellectual property licensing and specialty insurance coverage and provides consultation services for clients running California-based nonprofit organizations. She earned her Master of Laws and Certificate in Business Law from the USC Gould School of Law (2015), her J.D. (2002) from the University of San Diego School of Law, and her B.S. (1999) from the University of Southern California.
Ferguson (New York) is a member of Sedgwick's Insurance Division, specializing in Directors & Officers (D &O), professional liability and financial institutions coverage issues on behalf of U.S. and international insurers. His practice includes review of coverage issues arising out of federal and state securities laws including matters related to stock manipulation, misstatements, management disputes and allegations surrounding mergers, acquisitions and other transactions. He also serves as an advisor to insurers on claims involving regulatory and criminal investigations, various lawsuits arising out of common law and statutory violations, breaches of fiduciary duties by directors and officers as well as professional liability and fidelity claims against a variety of financial entities. He received his J.D. (2004) from Tulane University Law School, and his B.A. (1998) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Gettell (San Francisco) is a member of Sedgwick's Insurance Division. He focuses his practice on complex insurance coverage matters, including professional liability, D &O liability, employment practices liability, errors and omissions liability and commercial general liability policies. He earned his J.D. (2006) from the Southwestern University School of Law, and his B.A. (2002) from the University of California, Berkeley.
O'Rourke Gorman (New York) represents U.S. and London insurers on matters involving public company, private company and not-for-profit D &O liability policies. Her expertise includes U.S. and cross-border claims concerning alleged securities law violations, shareholder derivative suits, mergers and acquisitions, and governmental investigations. She also advises insurers on employment practices liability (EPL) and professional liability (E &O) coverage issues and often represents insurers at mediation and in state and federal court litigation. She earned her B.A. (2001) from Boston College, her J.D. (2005) from New York Law School, and served as a federal law clerk (2005-2006) for the Hon. Charles L. Brieant, Jr., former Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. In addition to her work on behalf of clients, O'Rourke Gorman dedicates much of her time to advancing the industry through leadership, frequently publishing and presenting both nationally and abroad on timely topics in the insurance industry. She also currently serves as Chair of the firm's New York Women's Forum and Inclusion and Diversity Committee.
Rosenberg (Los Angeles), a member of Sedgwick's Complex Division, is a trial attorney representing public entities from claims of childhood sexual abuse, bullying, physical abuse and harassment. She is particularly experienced in the defense of businesses through all phases of litigation, including trial and arbitration. She earned her J.D. (2004) from Pepperdine University School of Law, and her B.A. (2000) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Strachan (London) is a member of Sedgwick's Insurance Division. He is bilingual (English/Spanish) and has a good understanding of Brazilian Portuguese. He has particular expertise in Latin American business. In his past five years with the firm, Strachan has worked on many of the large loss matters in the energy, construction and property sectors in Latin America, both first and third party. He also advises on claims involving financial and regulatory matters, including financial institutions, D &O and environmental liability. Strachan was noted as "Up and Coming" in the Chambers Latin America Guide in 2015 and is ranked by Chambers Global, the World's Leading Lawyers for Business in both the Latin America-wide and U.K. sections for Insurance: Latin America. He is the author of the Latin America overview chapter to the Insurance and Reinsurance Law Review textbook. Strachan earned his L.P.C. (2004) from Nottingham Law School and his B.A. (2003) from University of Sheffield. He is admitted to practice in England and Wales.
