Selena Gomez’s name is still linked to Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin even on the day when the said couple was about to formally get married. Apparently, the drama with the “Love Yourself” singer and his ex-girlfriend is not yet over as fans still look for something to link them with.
Just this week, hours before Bieber and Baldwin exchange “I Dos,” a report surfaced saying that the latter just “liked” a photo on Instagram where her husband’s ex-girlfriend Selena was also in the picture. Of course, this created a commotion among the fans and considered a big deal because, for most people, the current and ex of Bieber can’t be friends due to their history.
According to In Style Magazine, Selena Gomez’s bestfriend Raquelle Stevens posted a photo on Instagram and it includes the “Wizards of Waverly Place” star. It was taken on the set of “Giving Back Generation” and this snap was said to have been “liked” by Hailey Baldwin which surprised many people. The model clicked the like button on her wedding weekend too so no wonder it made news.
Jelena fans react to Justin Bieber’s throwback picture
Prior to his wedding on Sept. 20, Bieber posted a throwback photo showing him with Baldwin. The singer still sports his bowl cut at that time and he’s really young, and he captioned the image with “My wife and I where it all began.”
The post irked Selena’s fans and their comments were directed at Bieber. They reminded him that that was the time when he was in love with Gomez. They also pointed out that the songstress was his very first girlfriend, thus his caption doesn’t fit. One even said, “Look at the necklace people, Jelena still a part of this.”
How is Selena after Justin’s wedding?
Meanwhile, Selena Gomez is said to be open to dating these days and she just realized that she is better without Justin Bieber. After her ex-BF’s wedding, it was said that she is doing great and continuously being healed from her anxiety.
“She is in a good place,” the insider told Us Weekly. “She has been hanging out with old friends and family and keeping herself out of the limelight and away from public places where she might feel bombarded or overwhelmed.”
