Selena Gomez attended this year’s American Music Awards, and she was styled and made pretty by famous celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo. He then posted several pictures of the “Love You to Lose Me” singer, and it was reported that Justin Bieber’s wife Hailey Baldwin “liked” her photos.
The AMAs was held on Nov. 24 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, but Vanngo only posted the images of Gomez a few hours ago today. He really glammed up the “Wizards of Waverly Place” star and created a classic look that brought out her beauty.
Hailey Baldwin’s showed support and approval of Selena
Now, despite the rumored rift between Selena Gomez and Hailey, it appears that Justin Bieber’s wife is letting the past go and wanted to make peace instead. She seems to have reached out first by liking Gomez’s photos that were shared by Vanngo, and this suggests that all is well between them.
E! News reported that this is not the first time that the 23-year-old model has expressed her support to Gomez via social media. It was said that when the singer released the breakup song "Lose You To Love Me," Mrs. Bieber also "liked" Selena’s picture where she was celebrating with friends for the track’s release.
The conflict between the two women started after they were both linked to Justin Bieber. They were his on and off again girlfriends for years, but he was with Selena for a longer time. When they briefly reunited in late 2017, they broke up, and the “Love Yourself” singer got back with Baldwin, which ultimately led to their civil marriage in the fall of 2018.
Their complicated past created an invisible animosity, but with the model’s recent gesture, she seems to have moved on already and looking forward now to friendship or, at least, good civil treatment of each other.
Selena missed seeing the Biebers at the AMAs
But while everything looks alright now, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin did not attend the AMAs; thus, they missed seeing Selena Gomez. If the couple did not skip the event, they would have heard her sing "Lose You to Love Me," and it would have been their very first meeting, and this encounter will surely hit the headlines.
